Starlings never cease to enchant me. Their iridescent plumage catches the light like a work of art, their ability to imitate sounds to perfection. But what fascinates me most are their ever-growing flocks: tens of thousands of birds that, without ever colliding, fly as one

waves through the air in a dance that is enigmatic and magical.

The starling symbolizes Self-reflection, Communication, Healing and Justice . These themes say a lot about me and my work.

 

Due to a false start in life and quite a few challenges on my path, I started researching and looking for answers in therapies and coaching , including body-oriented. Countless books and podcasts have passed the revue. I also spent some time studying ECIW. I learned a lot from teachers such as Eckhart Tolle , Byron Katie and Jan Geurtz , with whom I did a number of courses. During my training I discovered Bert Hellinger and Wibe Veenbaas .

 

Through much inner work I have learned to look at the sometimes anxious ego with compassion. That does not mean that I never feel bad anymore. Pain and setbacks are inextricably linked to life. In the denial of this lies the great suffering. Not forgetting that is a great challenge in a world in which vulnerability has little place and we receive the message of external status and manifestable happiness everywhere. Not being able to meet that creates feelings of inadequacy. And of course nothing could be further from the truth.

 

In recent years I have immersed myself in Systemic Work and Coaching , which includes Transactional Analysis, NLP and Family Constellations . I have followed the necessary, accredited education and training for this. This also applies to my work as a Confidential Advisor.

My way of working is characterized by support and inspiration from equality, in a human, investigative and no-nonsense way. My heart beats faster from sharing what I myself have benefited from so much and still do. The central point is: We need each other and we are not alone in this.
